These ribbons are knotted and caked with dust
Story away with no future must
They hold together remains of a past
A familiar hope that could never last
We forget the nature of a "perfect" today
With rough callused hands we turn ribbons away
Where is the sentimentality in this?
A life of despair and a forgotten bliss
