i dont care how cliche you say this is
i havnt writting much since about january
and im still out of ideas so this is pretty much
straight from the heart about well how i feel
when i speak to a certain someone



im laying in my bed
listening to you on the other end
my fingertips digging into my skin
trying to find the right words to say
trying not to let the tears overtake

I give a anxious laugh
to try and break this silence
there’s the funny feeling
in the back of my throat
cause somewhere along the road
i know my heart still longs for you
but my mind is still telling me no

the way we used to laugh together
was as though we were going to last forever
but no one ever told me
that your words were over used
no one ever told me that I wasn’t the only girl

and im still laying in my bed
on the phone listening to you
i thought my silence would have said it all
but you don’t notice that im still nervous
you don’t notice that im still lonely
you don’t notice me at all
im just another girl
that you left behind to take the fall

the phone call ends
and this is it
no body told me
that this silence was going to last
this is something no one can break
this is something that cant be just erased

my fingertips begin to slide
revealing the marks my nails have left
nobody ever told me that it would be this hard
no one ever said that forever didn’t last

It's great. I love knowing what they're about, because it always makes them more personal for me. And I usually know what yours are about.

I think I probably liked this stanza the best.
