I don't like the idea of internet relationships because you can't hold each other, touch each other or feel close to each other.

I think it's fine if you meet them online and then meet up with them irl and a relationship develops form that though.

Do you hold, feel and touch your friends regularly?

Internet friendships are great, but loves, I’m not too sure about. People seem altered, even if you know them in real life, they seem different on the internet.

I guess you have to be smart, or you will fall for a fake.

You do have to be smart.
You have to be smart, stubborn, willing, and not lazy.
And internet relationship is pain in the ass to maintain. You can't take anything for granted.
My fiance and I mainly have an internet relationship. We've met up face-to-face three times and talk on the phone, but most of it is online.
Fights are difficult, especially if you only have a certain amount of the time in the day to talk. For instance, the other day we were fighting and she signed off without saying I love you [because her internet clocked her out].
That's not typically a problem one has in a face-to-face relationship.
There are problems, there are times when you're just sick of how unfair it is.
So... they're not for everyone.
And they're not for stupid people.

me and my friends are physically very close.

to say hi or goodbye, we tend to hug each other.

we're often holding hands because we tend to drink a lot and that steadies our balance.

most of my friends like to kiss each other too but i personally think that's too far.

it's also very cold in glasgow so when we sit outside, we snuggle up to each other

Smile

we're closer than family in some aspects haha

No, you can't hold them and touch them and constantly feel close to them.
That's why it takes a strong person to make an internet relationship work.
Someone who cares about the person more than a person.

ive had my share of them, and i personally think theyre a lot better than normal face to face relationships. i.e: there's no pressure about looks and stuff like that, and if it doesnt work out u dont have 2 c the person and its less wird. *thumbs up*

Internet relationships in the context of a pre-real life relationship are a good thing.
People meet online and live together/fall in love, get married in the future a lot, it works, its a good thing Dno

But its all relative. Some silly kids say they are "taken", and an e-relationship to them consists of very little. MSN, webcam, occasional phonecall, stuff like that, and when people live thousands of miles apart it doesn't work. Its pretentious.

E-relationships that go on to evolve into a "real-life" relationship are great. I have issues with the more naive people treating an e-Realtionship oin a par with real life.

Some kids dont only consists of that though. Some talk all the time msn, phone, webcam, everything, every day and night. Talk about anything and everything. Make times to meet and all that shit. even if they are thousands of miles away sometimes one of them travels near and they make arrangements to meet up go out and shit....least does for me....1 year next month.

I HAVE A RELATIONSHIP WITH 3 OTHER GIRLS.
...Cassie

k, not really, but we're that close. I've met up with two of them, and I'm hoping to meet up with them all in August, so yeah. We text each other, we speak to each other every day. We're a pretty close knit friendship tbh. Should we NOT be that close or..idk. If you're saying internet relationships are bad [or the vast majority of you are], are really close friendships?

Internet relationships....friendships are alright...if the people you talk with aren't a bunch of leeches that don't know when to quit? Then forget it. It isn't worth the pain. Do NOT let anyone over a hundred miles away on a keyboard make you feel like shit.

Romantic relationships? No good. Enough said. How can you trust a person enough to love them over a screen? It's fine to trust them, but as I said before...don't let them affect you too much. Never EVER worth it. You gotta live your life.
