Yet, my child of the blade,
Everything you touch is ruined.
It never was your fault that you were
A soft-spoken angel of darkness and ice
Betrayed of love, and deceived of innocence.
The scars trace lines, of impracticalities and the longing,
What you’ve always wanted-
To be able to touch another, and not break the fragile skin of trust. |
