New Blood [ii]

Mmkay, new project. I am gonna write a series of peoms...that tell a story. Like a poetic version of a concept album. Chaa. This is part 2.

Procastination - New Blood {ii}

The day has arrived, new prophets
are throwing up their parables.
The sunlight across my tomb,
history is my tattered banner
tied apon my sword.

Newcomer, clear your head,
the electrical currents flow through
your veins, truth sustained.
Are you another soldier in our war?

Grasp the tails of the desert fox,
it holds promise in it's fangs.
Task one and dear seraphim,
you have passed, your wings are
pure white; yet they shall be dyed
blood red at the end of the road.

The spectre of terrorism holds the
mortal fools in peculiar panic.
The satanic rituals of those fighting
in the name of God, spiritual deity,
transverse waves of hope are transmitted
across the stars. Catch them while you can.

Baptised in pure alcohol, the tainted
aura glows profusely. Skin's sepia tone
fades in the new Sun glare. Look up,
up up up, a new star, just for you.

Man...some of the best poetry I've read in a while, and I don't read much poetry.
I think I just might keep it too.

Wow. I was wondering when the next bit was going to come but it was well worth the wait.

I loved this more than words could express.

Hmm. Pretty good, I liked it.
