The Loser and The Sunshine [iii]

Mmkay, new project. I am gonna write a series of peoms...that tell a story. Like a poetic version of a concept album. Chaa. This is part 3.

Procastination -The Loser and The Sunshine{iii}

Radiation in my veins, the bitter
injustice. The martyrs in the boulevard
waste away, the anorexic excuses. I hide
myself in the dirty café where the children
clog their lungs in sweet tar and their only
babysitter is a puritan vase of Mary Jane.

He enters, the sunshine. A rejuvenating
smile across his celestial face. He seems
to have hope in his eyes, lies lies lies.
Such a poor melodic shuddering of the train
tracks beneath my seat. He sits down, his
wings stretched out. Who are you?

The sunshine bids a sunken simile,
like for like, as if I would recall.
A blasé euphoria, how can this be?
He's just another angel in the hierarchy.
Yet I am in a melancholy ecstasy.

Sanity drains from the open wounds,
in my mind. Pooling like a veil over
my eyes. I am blind to you. He is a
miracle, that will fade like a child's
freckle on a pallid face.


He still answers nothing to my request.
Identity of nothing is good enough for me,
after all, who am I? The psychological
angst in my tissue is being ripped apart
by hungry little crows with sharp, bent hooks.

These just keep getting better and better.

Every part is just as beautiful as the last.
I love this so much.
