Mon cœur est un vitrail [v]

Mmkay, new project. I am gonna write a series of poems...that tell a story. Like a poetic version of a concept album. Chaa. This is part 5.

Procastination- Mon cœur est un vitrail {v}

My military jacket swings loose
in the whoosh of an aeroplane.
I swept my goodbyes under
the primary coloured carpet.

123, oh mommy, I am
no longer your little girl
with the shiny blonde curls.
My life is no nursey rhyme
there is no happy ending.

In a land far away, where the
wicked brew up chants and spells,
my guardian bewitches up some
past sercurity, in a vial of glass.

The limerick in my head
keeps repeating, I am it's
subject. Immature.
Just a child, merely adult in
age only. My mental capacity
is not fully functioning.

One two, the price of freedom
is my sanity and of course, you.
Three four, I am no longer a w hore.
Five six, see this cicatrix?

Oh, lord. Hear me. Can you not see?
This immature girl, lost in the world,

has grown up without your permission,
such a disappointment for you.

Always you, you, you the eraser of
my pencilled mistakes. As if you hadn't
made any

of your own, oh no no no no.

The passport in my hand, hand hand
and I'm heading the hell
out of this fairytale land, land land.

I am free to be me, free
to reaffirm my aim, my goal.

You blow my mind beyond the point of recovery.

I loved it. The structure was certainly different, and you really played on repetition well.
