Glissando Propaganda [viii]

Mmkay, new project. I am gonna write a series of poems...that tell a story. Like a poetic version of a concept album. Chaa. This is part 8.

Procastination- Glissando Propaganda{viii}

The sickly serenade of lurid violins
compliment the whoriness of the
brassy trombones. To waltz is to
fall and to dance is to die. The
homicidal tendencies of music hall.

Alas, I am no conductor, no general,
no lieutenant to the orchestra. On his
command the drumming commences.

Lucifer's army works to
an symphony of human misery.

Armed to the teeth with guitar amps
And the explosive timpani. Can you understand
the importance of mediocre anthems?

Lucifer's army is a boot camp
held in a nightclub.

The enemy swells in number
alongside the swelling of clarinets.
I am scared that these supposed
Mozarts will flood the gates of hell.

Will you sing for his army?
Another limp soldier in his call?
It's pathetic that you won't realize.
It's the truth- he may have you already.

I love this more and more with every poem, every image, every word.
You amaze me.

I loved it. Truly amazing.

You're inspiring me. I might try a concept series at some point. Could be a challenge. Would certainly be a challenge to write as well as you.

You're not gonna believe this, but you're inspiring me to try my hand at poetry. o.o;;
