I had to write a poem for my language arts class by filling out a chart with adjectives that describe me and use nouns to compare the adjectives to. The sun side was for what I show more, and the shadow side was what I didn't show as often. I decided to show my sun poem, even though it's not my best. I never write well with too many guidelines.

I am as the spider
Weaving an invisible web
Back and forth, spinning an image
Artistic creativity forming
In my work

I am as the morning glory
As every-changing as the closed buds
Opening up to the sun
Going into hiding at night
Never staying once the same

I am as lime green
A color boasting its peculiarity
A quirky shade of a common color
Jumping out, making heads turn
And eyes grow wide

I am as the number seven
Confident and always in good luck
Opportunities come my way
Never confused
Holding my head up high

I am as the sphere
Well-rounded and bubbly
No corners to hide in
To draw back into
Open and hyper

I am as the sapphire
A radiant gem
In the light of intelligence
Well-cut and loved by many
A royal stone among few

I am as the calm breeze
Pensive and living in thoughts
Hidden in the caverns of my mind
Daydreaming always
Silently thoughtful.
