Affliction
What is pain to the emptyness?
Affliction.
Who are we to renew momentum?
Deteriorate amongst the thousands of lost souls
What was lost is now so old
Finding ourselves in our misery
Lost and forgotten, only we can see
Our affliction, our pain wasn't for me
Distressed what little we had left
Hope was for those with a little desire
Dancing upon ourselves in ratty attire
Faking ourselves, we were for hire
Unknown to the world that had suffered so much
For freeing yourself, with anyone to sex
Your first victim, your fatal ex
Tormenting yourself, you're so complex
Commitment is something you cannot handle
Our affliction, our pain, to you was a game
You bow your head, yet you know no shame
Betray me once, you were never the same
Our dying love wasn't gone yet, you claimed sanctity
Lift us up to be torn apart
Our darkened lies, we were art
Save us from ourselves
For surely we will go to hell |
