He has been active for over 20 years, and has collaborated with many other leading musicians, including Johnny Marr of The Smiths, protest folk singer Leon Rosselson, members of R.E.M., Less Than Jake, Kirsty MacColl, and Wilco. Most Recently featured on Sheffield band Milburn's debut album.

I got into his music after hearing To have and to have not.
He's pretty sweet.
He's also influenced many of the great punk bands today.
