I drowsily yell out the window
But am drowned out by a KEBLUM!
I’ve tried everything, but to no avail
They’re out of earplugs in the shop
I battle on bravely. I will be strong;
But am awakened by a great POP!
11pm, the noises stop, hooray!
I smile and clap in glee
I think I may have spoke too soon
Because then there is a WHEEEEEEE!
Lock away your animals, kids,
And whatever else might get the creeps
But don’t do fireworks too late at night
Because some of us are trying to sleep! |
