Frame Life in Moments, Hang it on Memories

Far from picture perfect,
But happy as it seems,
Captured in a steel frame
On my desk

Moments worth living for
As the rest of the time
Is a complete waste
From what I
Can gather

Of course,
I could be wrong.
But then again,
It never matters.

Blue skies
In all those photos
Not a cloud
Not a single care.
I should know,
I’ve looked at them
So many times.

Far from perfect,
But they are not meant
To be pictures of life.
Just memories
of moments.

And I can make
Absolutely nothing
Out of this.
But it’s ok because
It never really mattered.

I really liked how some lines flowed and others broke away. I know it probably wasn't intentional, but it created a disjointed feeling that complimented the structure. It breaks the poem apart so you can think about individual lines. I especially loved the last line.

Thank you. Well, in fact, it was. Do you know how hard it is to learn how to make it seem unintentional??
I was afraid that it wasn't "good enough" though. That it was too simple or blunt (or whatever). So thanks a lot, dear. ^_^

I adore the last two stanzas and the impact that they make on the rest of the poem. Even though it was simple it definitely worked.
