I'm not sure if the movie is out yet or not. But the book is great, it's about a boy and his amazingly dysfunctional childhood that includes being given away to his mother's shrink, electroshock therapy and being involved in a relationship with a man almost 20 years older than him. That was a really crappy description, but I definitely recommend the book.
