What's in a name? King For A Couple Of Days Age: 36 Gender: Female Posts: 2451	November 2nd, 2006 at 03:14pm Fractured The world is so harsh, darling And you are too innocent. Your wings have been patched with band aids But the fracture just wouldn’t heal And now you can stop crying, angel I know just how you feel. Wasting the air your sour lungs need You claim that the heat from my smile Vapour all of those tears Right from your eyes. Save your breath because we both know. They do not disappear but simply flood Thoughts and memories That sink, drowning. I unwind bundled up emotions only to Find mile after mile of barbed wire Ripping holes in your soul, No damage undone. Words of comfort at the tip of my tongue Leaves a bitter taste in my mouth. How I wish that I could spit them out Instead of swallowing all As a stinging potion Of agony. Crawl up behind the façade, sweetie And separate from yourself. As you try to wash away marks of treatment For an unhealthy condition that you Declare your spirit not to suffer, dear There’s nothing you can do. gasps Another poem? So soon? Well, yeah, deal with it

I just popped up in my head like that. =] Yay bows I’m glad that my expiration date didn’t sneak up on me while I was away from here. I was a bit afraid that I wasn’t so good at this anymore. But I guess I am.
