Sweet Valentines and Deadly Murders

The sweet talk that invaded his mouth always seemed to win her over
His eyes were a hypnotising whirlpool of deep and meaningful thoughts
The words that escaped his beautiful lips dazed her even more than usual
The masculinity of his grip around her thin wrists sent her into raptures

Her mind flashed to their first date, when he’d held her in that passionate way
She felt safe in his arms, as they snaked around her tiny, frail frame
Breathless sighs escaped her body and the cobwebs appeared once more
Seduction and security were combined to make a deadly concoction

The resting of the midnight sunset turned her mind to thoughtless dust
A professional smirk told him that he’d picked the wrong girl
The knife was twisted deeper into his pallid, muscular skin
Was this what she had become- a cold-blooded murderer?

The paranormal force of that one unforgivable move was blinding,
The silence that corrected her scream was deafening, deadly even
Kisses and grips at each other’s chest were forgotten and their future ruined
The pure fate stunned her as he walked away, fresh from his recovery


Never shatter her dreams before you shatter her heart

I'm sure that you've posted this before. It sounds desperately familiar to something else you've written.

Still, I absolutely love it. If you have posted it before, I can remember it being one of my favourites by you.

That was beautiful. The imagery was really something.

Just one thing. 'Invaded' didn't quite seem the right word to use in the first stanza. Just my opinion, and I can't really think of what else you could use. I think I know why you chose it - but I'm not sure whether it sounds right.
