I guess you could say this was suitably bare.
We do not speak, yet are so
restless.
Catarrh ridden coughs ring out.
Creak
the solemn heave of chairs

a savage smash of pen on paper
Gush
the river of ink, nervously flowing
Smash
a stiletto heel hatters the canvas clad floor
Perfect silence never seemed so loud.
The rest of our lives, decided
forever. |

It's short, and poetically simple - which can be hard to do well. Damn good job.  |
