Unknown Addiction

What is the unknown addiction?


Sick things cover the pages of life and death,

whats so facinating about rape and drugs?

What kind of mental disorder do we all have,

that makes us want to compulsivly read about it?


Things that ruin you the most emotionaly and physically,

And yet we still give in to it all in hope that 'it' won't happen to us.

The advertising is never ending around the globe,

What is this addiction that we all have,

That makes us give it a try and hope that we arn't pulled in?


Reality is that it probably won't go away.

We must pull through with courage to find truth,

We may slip and fall somtimes,

But we must get up and try again as life goes on.


I got a phone call today from someone i know,

They said someone died the other day from something unknown.

All i can say is "who's next?",

You with the courage?

Or them.
