Just to clarify, Gerard never said he was single.
Mikey said Gerard was single in late 2006 and Gerard talked about what its like to be lonley on the MTV Overdrive interviews. He never actually said he was.

Gerard did, actually. He said he was single in Kerrang in december 2006 (I think it was then) and Jan/Feb this year on various media sources in Australia as well as some time in either March or April.

Well, just to chip in my last comment on this heinous topic. I think it's extremely ridiculous that fans have turned away from MCR just because the Way brothers said that Geetard was single. Did it not occur to them that perhaps they were simply trying to conceal his private life? What a thing to get worked up about!!

Admittedly, there was a fleeting moment where I had a teenie urge, but I got over it. Quite simply, I enjoy thier music. Yeah, theyre pretty to look at, but it's like Billie Joe; I could never depise Adrienne, and the fact theyre married doesnt deter me from liking him/GD. It makes me like him/ them even more.
My only issue is that Eliza likes the spotlight, is loud, brash and hasnt gone the right way about interacting with MCR fans. Causing the divide.

But hey, loyal fans dont let this phase them. We support them regardless.

Plug In Baby. The interview where Gerard says he's doing himself was in late 06, your correct. Mikey slipped up in January 07. The Kerrang interview came out before then. The MTV Overdrive interview where he talks about what its like to be lonely came out in late Feb to early March 07(Just before he dyed his hair black). Before the BP tour started.
Where he said he had a special someone came out in late April 07.
But hey, alot can change in 3 months; you have your theories and I'll have mine that come from VERY reliable and knowledgable sources regarding anything MCR

I'm very confused. Gerard died his hair black end of December. And yes, Gerard himself said, in late Jan/early Feb that he was single. He really did. So that's why people think he lied, because he was also supposedly going out with Eliza at the same time.

idk I don't have any theories. I don't think he lied. I don't like Eliza, because she does nothing but stir the fans and then act as the victim. I'm just trying to clear some things up =] because he himself did say he was single while in Australia.

When I saw Frank come out I was thinking "omfg, Frank has one of the messiest signatures ever " haha but when I told him I was gonna get it tattooed he made sure to sign it nice and clear xD
