| Kyra Shoot Me, I'm A Newbie  Age: 31 Gender: Female Posts: 40   | She's just another pretty girl with a face, Though in her heart everything's so out of place. Don't they realize who she's mean to be? Well it's certainly not the way they've seen. So they'll keep on judging in this stupid contest, For pretty girls and men to discuss who's the best. But in reality it's not what it seems, The real beauty is hidden inside of this shell; The real beauty can never be seen. She's just trying to find herself, Looks can be helpful when it comes to wealth. But as she gets older she's come to realize, Eternal happiness comes from the inside. So they'll keep on judging in this stupid contest, For pretty girls and men who discuss who's the best. But behind the curtains is the true finalist, Thought she'll never get picked, Or so it may seem. They say, "Looks don't mean everything." But that's only a dream, a wish; Something that's hardly conceived! And they know this--they know these phrases, But it's only some words and they don't make a difference. Their minds are set, their instincts are bound to be judgmental, and heartless, and deranged. In the end, when they're stuck with their cruel lives... The real beauty comes out from the curtain and shines! So they'll keep repeating this stupid contest, but in the end we'll know who has passed the test. So keep down on the envy and all the sights, And keep up on striving for the truth behind lies. |
