I LOVE The Blood Brothers! I have yet to get "Young Machetes", but I've got "This Adultery is Ripe", "Burn Piano Island, Burn", and "Crimes" and they are all great Cool. I've had a hell of a time trying to see them. I was gonna go in July 2004; but it was cancelled. Then again in 2004; but we didn't know until it was too late and we couldn't get a ride. and then there was 11/4/06; but it was the same day as The Fiend Fest which we already had tickets for and my boyfriend really wanted to go to. I SHALL see them one day, though.

Aww, I would love to see the Blood Brothers. I'm actually listening to Young Machetes right now, although I downloaded it. Of course, I intend to buy the CD, it's just a matter of when I get the money.

I'll probably get it next time I go CD shopping. I just havent gotten it yet cause I put it on my Christmas list and thought I might get it, but figured I wouldn't since my mom hates them. But, I sooo would have actually gotten it if I had bought it before Christmas, so I didn't.

How could your mom possibly hate them?! I think it's quite amazing how everything is placed in their music. It's not just noise like a lot of hardcore is.

Psssh, the guy with the high-pitched voice is a better singer any day.

Why can I never remember his name?!

Johnny Whitney. I love his voice Very Happy.

Ever heard of Neon Blonde? He sings and plays keyboard in that too.

I'm definatley getting 'Young Machetes' next time I go to CD Warehouse. I can never find 'March of the Electric Children' for some reason, though. I bought 'This Adultery is Ripe' at Best Buy and that's older than 'Electric Children', so it seems like the newer one would be easier to find.

Oh yeah, I've been meaning to download some of their songs, but I haven't gotten to it yet. Laughing

And about Best Buy having new CDs, it's kind of silly. They usually have the newest album of a band, not even the most popular. I tried finding The Suicide Machines' Destruction By Definition for the longest time, but they only ever had their newest one. Mad

That's odd... I haven't looked for CDs there in forever. It's rare that I'll find something I like, and VERY rare that I'll find it for a better price than at one of the campus CD stores, so I just go to those now (unless I have a Best Buy gift card or something). Come to think of it though, when I bought those Blood Brothers cds there 'Burn Piano Island, Burn' was new and 'This Adultery is Ripe' was only about 3 years old verses 6, so maybe that had something to do with them actually having it.
