i have an rg 220...it's a crappy ibanez but good enough to put on a good show. it's got the lock and everything, it's pretty good for it's price [only $260 USD]
it's this one cept it's grey and the fretboard is not ugly [darker colored, smoother surface]. i'm too lazy to upload the actual picture of it haha. but yah it's like all the other rg series guitars. i'm mad at it right now cuz i couldn't change the strings of it...but most the time, it's my baby =P |

you're not a fan of satch? his music always gets me in a weird mood haha, dunno how to describe it. i have the g3 with him, vai, and malmsteen; and he was entertaining o_O with the surf pose [god people must think i'm a nut haha but you gotta see him!] and his facial expressions are hilarious.
but vai is still my fave. he's such a show off and i love it. and i love having seen him live. yes, i must tell everyone that haha. i'd like one of his gem's, but i'd feel bad if i couldn't play up to vai's level and play one of his guitars.. |

It's rather light, (always a nice thing), and is just total fun to mess around with. =D My friend has an Ibanez, too, but not the same model as mine, but just as good of a guitar. |

Been tempted to buy myself one of these for ages, cheap too. If I buy it through the school it's £89.
I like the Ibanez gear but I'm not a fan of shreddy stuff (can play it but don't, very rarely has any emotion) and it's only really worth buying an Ibanez if you're going to buy a better one because although they make among the best mid range guitars you can buy their beginner line sucks. |

i dunno that style of guitar playing has never really appealed to me, sure its pretty impressive, but once theyve gone as fast as they can theres not much more that they can do. |

Schools Assisted Purchase Scheme.
Ask your teacher, they can order stuff for you and you don't have to pay VAT.
I'm a tech so me and another lad are in charge of all the school's gear, the amps are all fairly broken. Except for the Peavey from 1989 that is still running strong. |

I hate skool amps so much, we have 3 which the teachers dont think exist... one which is totally broken, one works but its a bass amp (which really doesnt help) and one is my friends brother's which he decided to leave there.... my skool's musice department is messed up. so much for a welsh skool which is only known because of the 'musical talents' we have.... its annoying. |

lol what i like about malmsteen is that he does the same stuff as vai and stach..only he does it on a strat. |
