Don't ask, don't tell[Haha, Doctor Who themed one.

It has begun, here we fall into the old routine
of morphine kisses and acidic fear.
So deep, so long and so defaming the horns
of hell that echo around the labyrinth of
school corridors and railway stations.

I frantically taste you on my charred lips as
I see my enemies gather like a storm cloud.
The electrical screams from the thundering succubi
open my eyes wide as they cast their nets
of barbed wire and check, to keep me in check.

They beckon, they call but their pleas of desperate release
has no effect on me. Too long have they
taunted and teased and I bore my angst with a gentle
knowing smile. I know, I know yet I know nothing.

The thrust of jealously to the back of the black neck and
the hand across the white mouth wants me to scramble
a line of pleasing tones like a little canary in a cage
of aluminium and nitro-glycerine.

My hands are changing shape. No longer the apparent
dominance of human physique holds me in the
rules of evolution. I am a revolutionary. Not a
goddess gilded in golden gorgeousness but a
traveller of stagnant time. Inertia has taken grip

of me once again, one month in every ten I
fade from the reality of consciousness, rapt in the
awesome beauty of the internecine black hole and
I am its husband.

Escape is one thing for you and another for I.
I will determine your escape and I flee quite
merrily from the scene. Perplexed, I see the shadow
of disbelief on your face.

I am not a terrestrial species to your planet. Daemon
dust and star explosions stain my clothes. I have
many times to die and each so satisfactory, so serene.

Bemused, my muse?

I bow to you, Time Lord.

Laughing

I love it so much. I'm not keen on science fiction, but you capture it so damn well...

'My hands are changing shape. No longer the apparent

I love those lines. Especially "pleas of desperate release." There's something...singsongy about that line.

See? I read your poem even though it has several unsavory diseases.
