You speak of passion but
there's none in our body. The
laugh was never one of joy-
only taunts. Your eyes throw
a fit over once simple mistakes.
You speak in a different language,
and expect me to understand but
not comprehend. You understand
those that are strange, but not this.
Never this.
Shakespeake's your God,
but you're not the lover.
You're not the poet.
You are the
lunatic. |

 | January 26th, 2007 at 01:48am I like this. I'm going to try some interpretation: Your English teacher has noooo idea what she's doing and she's ruining the beautiful works that she's supposed to be teaching you.
K, that probably wasn't it, but if it was, awesome. Because a lot of people write about how frustrated they are with school and stuff, but you presented it very...poetically for lack of a better word. I like the last two verses best. |

 | January 26th, 2007 at 03:47pm Well, I'm not one to say what my poems mean, and while you do have some aspects right, some are wrong, and it goes deeper than that. Thanks for the compliments. <3 |
