SKA-P (pronounced [ɛs ˈka pe]) is a ska punk band formed in Madrid (Vallecas), Spain, in 1994, that could be categorized, politically, as an extreme leftist - almost anarchist - musical group. Despite (or because of) its radical views, it remains one of the most popular ska bands in Spain and Europe.

You know my friends actually have one of their CDs but I never really listened to them. They could be a good band. I'll ask my friend.

It's good to see bands not from America of UK for once. I'm sick of all the same kinda of music you get. Bands from other countries usually have a more nationalistic approach to writing music and tend to intergrate their cultural influences into their compositions. It's nice. Unfortunately that has been proven impossible in Thailand with too many bands. The Thai language does not have the assonence to be clear enought to sing in pop music. Spanish definately has it though. Even more so than English sometimes.

I agree. Ska-P`s music is uplifting and sparky and I tend to believe that the reason for that is because they are Spanish.
