I think it's about time we talked again.
Sitting on the rooftop,
the south side of town.
Where we always used to
drift to sleep under the stars.

Who really left, my dear?
Is this remorse, relief?
Who's really the angel?

I know, you know, I run from you.
That feeling of guilt.
That feeling I get.
I can feel your eyes bore holes in mine,
but can you feel a thing?

Are you proud of me?
How I carry on?
I swollow that lump
in my throat way too often.
So often,
I dont feel the pills slide down.

Won't you come join me?
I'm sitting on the edge,
like we always used to do?
Don't you miss holding me?
Making sure I don't fall,
I cling to you,
deep breath.

Standing on the barrier,
getting closer to you.
Why did you lie to me, Steven?
How dare I speak your name.
Losing grip,
losing balance.

I feel you push me back,
I giggle. Silly boy...
Swaying now, singing our song.

No one will never understand
how easy it is to take that step.
Over the edge, and back into your lover's arms.

That was my favorite stanza.

No one will never understand
how easy it is to take that step.
Over the edge, and back into your lover's arms

That was a great way to end the poem. Wonderful Job Hannah.
