its kinda sad, its about an elven lady and en elven lord who are in love, and then this mortal, yet beautiful and stunning, woman finds a place in the lord's heart. and naturally the story will have a sad ending.

Her hair like water,
longer than the riverbed,
shining bright as gold,
she, the elf maiden.

Of stories told,
and deeds long done,
the old storyteller said,
her heart was of gold,
and her eyes of silver.

Long ago,
in those ancient times,
she fell in love with a stranger.
Years passed.
Stories told.
Their love wasn't made to last

His eyes so dark,
and hair so black.
Bold, Strong yet Fair.
He had won her heart
and take it he did,
and for a while they were happy

Into his dreams,
another stunning maiden,
had walked oh so quietly,
had caressed his heart
with her carefree dance
and the jolly tunes she sang.

He gave her flowers,
kisses and love,
and she took it for granted.
They were for each other,
but a shadow had lowered
itself on the bold man.

Oh the elf maiden,
the fair elf maiden,
with locks of gold
with tears so cold,
had found a reason to sit down and cry.
Her lost love had faded.

Her face so worn,
her heart so torn,
she was heartbroken.
With a sad tune on her lips
and a last kiss, she ran away from him.

A life to its end,
fate takes no bends,
the man, he did not linger.
He forgot his dark bride
and a horse he did ride
to find his heartbroken love.

He found her near the dark grey ocean
where her tears had turned to dust.
his touch she flinched to
andd turned away,
she thought he was but a ghost.

"Alas, my heart,
why must thou hurt me?,
I, the poorest of souls?"
"I was happy and in love,
but life didnt want it
so now i may turn to dust."

His heart to stone,
like a fatal blow,
he bled on the inside.
His face so worn,
blood turned cold,
he let the grey-grey waters take him away.

Both loves lost,
grief and sorrow
now fills both of their lively hearts,
As the dark mortal maiden passed away,
the now withered eld maiden alone, till the end of eternity.
