Songbird of Vienna, your lips give nothing but
blissful ephemeron, whilst rooting long lasting
affections beneath my soils. Your words; your
delicious kisses bless me with the magic that my

bruised heart so sorely craves. Every night since
you touched the sickly second degree burns of my
core; coating them in watery, amniotic bandages,
I have been breeding anaemic affections in glass

jars of viscous poetry in preparation of your arrival.
The love letters that you posted underneath the door
of a derelict habitat; I still keep in sealed boxes under
my floorboards. There they are safe from the frostbite

of high December, and guarded from the shortfalls of
glowing July. You are my love for all seasons. Vanilla
delight graces my voice box, as the tropical juices of
your comforts drip onto my shirt sleeves. Ripened

lemon smeared sensuously upon your collarbone. Luscious
raspberry stains my fingertips. Bliss is evanescent; its
repressed flames lick at the skyline episodically, but craft
tangible affinity where its shadows still dare to linger.

I really like your style of writing, it always seems to make the poem flow nicely [to me, at least] and makes me want to keep reading. The whole thing was awesome, but my favorite stanzas were probably the second and third. Oh, and this line?

You make me so jealous. The opening was absolutely brilliant and lovely. Your vocabulary is kind of quaint in this poem, but adds such an elegant flare to it. The third stanza is my favorite. The last line of the second stanza to the first line of the third stanza is so awesome: I have been breeding anaemic affections in glass/ jars of viscous poetry in preparation of your arrival.

Amazing.
