| just_call_me_dookie Addict  Age: 33 Gender: Female Posts: 12902  | Kevin Smith is the Director of Clerks and Clerks 2  The very popular Jay and Silent Bob were created in Clerks and went on to do many movies such as Mallrats, Dogma, and Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back. Silent Bob is played by the director Kevin Smith. Clerks Takes place in a small town in New Jersey at a small Convience stor called Quick Stop. Brian O'Halloran played Dante Hicks, a man who all he does is complain about having to come in on his day off. His co-worker Randal Graves played by Jeff Anderson, a very perverted guy who plays Dantes best friend as well as his co worker. Randal and Dante spend an entire day working as they play hockey on the roof and go to a funeral wake.  Clerks Two takes place 10 years later. One day when Dante comes to work to open the Quick Stop he finds it is on fire and burns down. Randal and Dante find Jobs a Moobys resturant and they are one year later in the film after the Quick Stop burned down. They are working for the young and beautiful Becky played by Rosario Dawson. They spend a day as people com in ordering and they come to many bumps in the road. Dante is getting married to his fiencce Emma, played by directors wife, Jennifer Smith, and it's Dantes last day at work and he's leaving for Flordia the next day. But Dante is in Love with Becky and it turns out Becky is pregnant with Dantes child. And so Randal as a going away present decides to order him a donkey show...turning terribly wrong Dante and Becky confess there love and Emma finds out, thus abolishing Emma and Dantes love. Randal and Dante at the end of the movie decide to buy the Quick Stop and Dante and Becky decide they should get married.  I think that these movies are truely great work and I love Kevin Smith and his style of writing. He's done other movies such as: Mallrats Chasing Amy Dogma Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back and Jersey Girl. I suggest you check Clerks one and Two out as well and Kevins other films. They truely are a work of art. |
