 | March 18th, 2007 at 12:40pm So, I'm not too sure about it. I think I need some major help with it, but I can't think of what to do. Suggestions?
A womanly pulchritude never learns
the mysteries of the eye.
For in her beating heart she always yearns
the misconception to die.
California sunsets will always sting
when she asks for nothing more-
for sadistic laughter will never bring
bliss upon her dying shore.
Harsher tones surround her poor, barren soul
as lies weave into the ground.
The sunlight will ring the very last toll-
though nothing grand will be found.
Crickets start to sing the saddest of their songs
as the stars lose their deep shine.
And the putrid woman sat by her wrongs
and lost everything divine. |

I think it has the potential to be something amazing, but I do agree that there is a little something missing.
If that makes sense. You can always come back to it if you have more ideas. It's good, but not quite as beautiful as your other work. But to be fair, you trying out something new. |

 | March 19th, 2007 at 04:26pm Yeah, I get what you're saying. I just have found that I love using a structured beat when it comes to rhymes. It's a 10-7 syllable beat. I know that it's typically not written like that, so maybe I could do a normal meter? I don't know. |
