This is inspired by a girl called Grace Bowman who wrote a memoir of her battle with anorexia.
Its meant to be confused and a bit jumbled because I tried to capture her feelings in the actual poem rather than just the words...

Starvation Technique

She refused to save herself
Chocked on her lonley cry for help
Now she would shout out her secret
To the whole ugly world...
For once more chance, watching from afar
A million other girls- counting skin and bone
Wont unite and justify because each of thems "alone"
She spit back her tears and gagged on her fears
The calories, fat and all the pounds
Ten thousand delicacies put her in the ground
She hated that looking glass
The million shards that wouldn't smash
Just magnified her misery
All her dreams have died you see
All the bones in the world wouldn't be enough
To escape the flesh she destroyed with love
Now a million days ago, the rain poured down
And tears were shed for she's in the ground
Her gravestones thin and so is she
The goal after all, of what she died to be.
