The Man

There is a grown man
out there hiding in his
closet because it

is the quietest
room within his house and the
restroom is always

too busy for him
to be alone with his thoughts
and to write freely

Some people stay up
until it is late at night
so while others sleep

their record they keep
even this can be trouble
your dream scheadule dies.

Please tell me this
which is better I wonder

Mom! Dad is hiding
in the closet again we
want him to come play

ball verses why were
you not asleep when I was?
a hard decision...

I've tried them both and
I guess the closet wins...
