Ban plastic shopping bags!

Me and my parents started discussing it and a good point was made. What if you're on your way home from work/school and just suddenly decide to stop to get some groceries? You can't be carrying around a cloth bag all the time. I think plastic bags should be used [with a fee],but constantly reused. I mean, you can keep a plastic bag rolled up in your bag and use it over and over and over when you're shopping. I think it'd be more efficient than just cutting them out altogether quickly. Just gradely fade the use of plastic bags.

Just gradely fade the use of plastic bags. That's why I keep my canvas bag in my car. Seriously, like a seperate compartment taking up less than 10 square centimetres for a few bags isn't a lot. And usually if I'm walking and I need to do shopping, I'll only shop for essential things and fit them into my purse. I put a milk carton in my purse once and my roomie was looking through my purse for keys and she was baffled as to why on Earth did I carry around milk in my purse.
