 | April 18th, 2007 at 08:18am The sound of screams
In the lonely night
The feeling of dreams
My senses bright
The beating of the heart
It slowly stops
So does my mind
But a tear still drops
Music of the nightingales
Is it only in my mind?
I can hear it clear
But I cant hear your sound
The long shadow falls
On your pale skin
But the skin is cold
And you cant feel a thing
I know its all drama-queen like, but I don't write that much and I consider this one of my better trips to the world of poetry. |

that gave me the chills.
and the rest of the poem was just great! |

 | April 18th, 2007 at 10:13pm I agree with HTS. That part gave me the chills.
The beating of the heart
It slowly stops
So does my mind
But a tear still drops.
I loved that the most, though.
This poem is very good. =]
Though, I think it could have been a litte longer. It was a good idea. |

 | April 19th, 2007 at 03:34pm Thank you! And I know its a bit creepy, I'm really not a depressed person, but I seem to be good at sad songs. And I agree, it could have been a bit longer, but I had no more idea what to write so I just left it at this. |

And I agree, it could have been a bit longer, but I had no more idea what to write so I just left it at this. That's perfectly okay. I get like that too, sometimes. It's a hard struggle, but eventually you'll think of something and turn this into an amazing poem. And yes, you are good at it.
