The Prophecy just said it was at the end of July, it doesn't necessarily have to be the last day.
I remember Neville's was a day before Harry's, too. And it's what Wiki says.

Sirius has to go into hiding and Dumbeldore tells him he will be living in Snape's house and because it can't look like there's another person living there, he and Snape have to share a bed as well.
