You're forgetting that if the director didn't want angry Dumbledore, they'd cut and do a retake and tell Michael to be a bit more chilled out.

Not all criticism/praise for a part lies solely with the actor, there are other people who make decisions on how the character will be played, it's very rare that an actor is given a completely free reign for a part.

Yeah, true we don't know who fucked up lmfao

I think most of the actors can kinda choose their outfit, I saw that once. Coolio I mean obviously Sirius can't wear a Santa costume, but yeah they can pick out stuff and have an influence on how the character will look like. That's where they already failed with Dumbledore in comparison to the first two movies. tehe

Actually, the stripes are interesting.

Harry didn't wear stripes, and 9 times out of 10, if Ron was wearing stripes, so was Hermione.

It's supposed to make Harry look isolated. It's all part of messing with your subconscious. [/media-head]

I thought Bella looked perfect.

Although for some reason (I dunno if it mentions in the books at some point or another, or whether it's my imagination running riot) I always pictured her hair to be like the perfect jet black hair that's lovely and think and shiny and everything that Pantene want when they look for people for their adverts.

And I always saw it as shoulder length, for some reason. I dunno, I think I just pictured her as this gothic beauty queen. Which, I bet she was in her day.

Yeah, definitely. Because I think however the characters are portrayed, whether they're how you imagine or not, the side of them that is portrayed still exists, but just comes out to a lesser extent in the books because you see so much more.

Like you see NOTHING of McGonagall's pwnsomeness which is actually gutting. I wish they'd given her more in the 5th film, instead of having her actually step down on the steps when Dolores is like 'but omg you must be loyal to Cornelius', because that was SO wrong. She should have been all 'Yeah bitch, but I'm only loyal to those who I care about so stfu and stop slicing open the wonderboy, all right?'

Nah, cos if she would, Emma would be gone, with her stupid 'I wanna be Keira Knightley' breathing acting. (Focussing mostly on "Dumbledore...made...us...promise...not...to...tell....you....blimey, I feel like I've run a mile!" as well as others.)

She's TERRIBLE at lead on lines. She doesn't act like she's been interrupted, she like, interrupts herself before the others do. BAAAAAAAAH.

I watch GoF last night, so the "Wasn't there any security or..." and "The use of any one of them will - " scenes are fresh in my head.

Oh and the eyebrows. Can she not keep them still?

Yeah I know. It was all lame and like for 6-year old, when she said idk something like "wanna say something?" "there are several things I'd like to say I MEAN PLEASEEE. XD She kicked Umbridge toad ass in the book, but yeah..

I SO wish there had been the careers meeting scene. Or at LEAST McGonagall telling Peeves to unscrew the chandalier the other way. But there's no peeves whatsoever, which is terrible, I think.

I cannot wait to see Trelawney launching crystal balls at death eaters. That scene will make me cry with happiness.

It's gonna be awesome.

if they don't give Maggie the CHARGE line, then I'm gonna get together my own actors and make my own film, even if the special effects are shit, I don't care, it's gonna be a lot better than theirs. Besides, my brother can do graphics and shit like that, I'll get him to add some effects in.

LOL @ the prospect of making a HP film.

And Harry better crucio Amycus for spitting at McGonagall. "Well that's very...gallant of you Potter" hahaha.
