Let's face it, she has a great imagination for stories, but her skills with the pen are sorely lacking. The insult wouldn't be to his ability to create a marketable idea, which Rowling has done and incredibly well. I'm saying it would insult his great skills as a writer to be compared to someone whose command of the language is laughably sub-par.
