Basket Case Age: 35 Gender: Female Posts: 17669	June 9th, 2007 at 12:30am So I've been listening to the Jim Dale version of HBP and frankly, he makes everyone sound like a demented cartoon character, especially Ron and Hermione. Finished downloading Mr Fry's version a little while ago, and ended up waiting up for about 3 hours to listen to the last few chapters of the book...and he made me cry. I didn't cry when I read it. I cried when Stephen read it. I'm sorry, but he is truly an angel.

You get like 1862746937482743 kudos for that Argh, I'm supposed to be going away for the day the same day that DH comes out, but I'm leaving so early I won't get my delivered version beforehand. And I'm not even that fussed about going, and I'll end up getting my hands on a copy anyway so I'll be reading it all day. It's just baaaaaaaaah. I'm really hoping I get those tickets in the prize draw so I've got a stone-clad reason for not going. Although you get a free copy of DH if you go, and it finishes @ 7am so I could still do it anyway. Argh, I dunno.
