And goes to Eton. And says things like 'Jolly good, old chap!' Whats wrong with that?

I think he should have just had a trim...cos it was getting dead long in GoF, but if he'd had an inch or two chopped off, it'd be alright. Still, I suppose it's Dan's hair and he can have as much cut off as he pleases.
