Not enough Alan Rickman or Jason Isaacs (or David Thewlis for that matter) for my tastes, but that's just me A tonne of Evanna action made up for that slightly. The twins/Luna/Umbitch were all particularly great, as was Draco; who was only in the film for like five seconds but his first appearance made my inner fangirl shriek with manic delight. Small text for spoliurz 1. Where the hell was young!Lily? o.O I'd seen her in promos but I failed to spot her when Harry ~invaded~ Snape's mind. I hope she's in the deleted scenes or whatever when the DVD comes out. 2. OMG HOW SEXY WAS LUCIUS IN THE DEPARTMENT OF MYSTERIES. "Now everybody just calm -down-. I squealed. 3. The camera panning over those Daily Prophets fucking gave me a headache, it was kinda eye-hurty, and they kept doing it ALL THE TIME. 4. The scene in Dumbledore's office (after when Arthur was attacked) was a bit botched in my opinion, but Snape appearing redeemed it for me. Plus, Kingsley did make me lol. 5. Dumbledore was AWESOME at the end. That's all. Anyone who criticised the new!Dumbledore in the past can stfu. 6. That portrait that Filch took down (the one of the men in ruffs and the skeleton) reminded me sooo much of the Anatomy Lesson of Nichloas Tulp, by Rembrandt, which is like my favourite painting ever. I think it was a parody of the actual painting, and I loved it. 7. Lupin needed more lines. But that bit of him at the start, behind Sirius, where he was smiling, kept getting repeated throughout the film and it was omgah so cute. I hope there are a few more scenes on the DVD, and I'd like the Dept. of Mysteries scene to be extended. And more occlumency, obv, but that'd just be pushing it a bit.

Mmmm, I agree with almost everything on there. SPOILER: I was really axious about the twins farewell. I really thought they were going to fuck it up. But...I nearly cried with happiness, they did it so well!!! And..I fangirled...I can't lie...

Meg you are so very right, the last fight with Dumbledore and Voldie was so exciting it was like silence then when a spell hit it was like BOOM! and CRASH!. I also love the part when Sirius died that Lupin was holding Harry and it was all silent in slo-mo with a very slow classical music. I almost cried on that scene.
