Oh my good god.

I couldn't get in until three hours after I got to the cinema, cos they were all sold out, and I ended up going in at 8.45 and coming out at 11.30 but oh my good god.

SO amazing.

So so so so so so so so amazing.

And now tiny letters:

I really loved the interaction between Ron and Hermione in this one, and between Harry and Sirius and Harry and Luna. And when Grawp picked Hermione up and she was like "Grawp! Put me down! Now!" and Ron gets all defensive and whacks his leg with the branch, argh, I could just hug him. It was so brilliantly awesome, and actually quite disturbing in some bits. AAAAW@ the twins for being nice to the crying kid, I want to hug them more than ever and just omgosh. "Get away from my god son!" *punch*. I wish there'd been more of the emo aftermath, with the "I don't want to be human" stuff, cos I think Dan could have done that really well, and it's my favourite part of the book. Loved the DA stuff though. Wish there'd been more on Fred and George's escape but apart from that I loved it. Well, I say apart from, I love it regardless, but I'd love it even more if they'd included those things.

Me and my friend were holding each others hands and squealing with excitement for most of it.

I wish there'd been more of the story in there though, cos it all seemed to be DA and then the big old ending. Still, it was really arty, and I loved it. Loved the hand-held camera stuff, and the stuff that was all silent, I thought that was stunningly beautiful.

*sigh*

I'm not 'acquiring' it as we speak.

SPOILER!

Meg you are so very right, the last fight with Dumbledore and Voldie was so exciting it was like silence then when a spell hit it was like BOOM! and CRASH!.

I also love the part when Sirius died that Lupin was holding Harry and it was all silent in slo-mo with a very slow classical music. I almost cried on that scene.
Cool

So I skipped the camp I'm a guide at on Wed to see this with my other guide friend from camp.
We were at the theatre at like, 10 in the morning and were the first ones which was pretty rad, got to see the first movie.

I think I liked this one a lot more than the last 3 HP movies. Not just 'cause of content and what they put in and stuff, but I also really liked the cinematography.

I JUST CAME BACK FROM SEEING IT!!! Ahbrow

I was actually disappoited a bit though, too many brilliant characters did not get enough limelight, also the movie lacked a plot. Had I not read the book I would've been very confused.

It seemed more like a visual reference rather that a movie. It was a bit too ovbious that there was a book attached to it.

Spoiler talk:
I cried soooo hard when Sirius died, I knew it was coming yet it still was a shock I just couldn't believe it. So not fair! Also the constant flashbacks and stuff kept giving me headaches. I thought the plot jumped way to much from one scene to another. Snape's lessons seemed sort of randomly and awkwardly squeezed into everything. Proffesor Trelawny's kicking out was another scene that seemed awkwardly added in.

Also, here's to Helena Bonham Carter and Imelda Staunton (my favourite character of the movie) who both did amazing jobs in conveying a strongly dislikeable character. Carter was suitably psychotic in her performance and did not seem at all to have been over-acting. She reminded be a bit of Gary Oldman's debut as Siruis Black which was also done in very good taste as a borderline psychopath. (Pretty much everyone here knows about my admiration of him.) But gosh, I did love Imelda Stauton's performance. She was definately given the bulk of the best lines and totally lit up the screen with her faux pleasentries.

Oh course, I cannot get over how good Gary Oldman was, and yet he still got a poor amount of screen time as well as David Thewlis.

The very few scenes that did include them, they did a hell of a job with such basic scenes to act

In fact, with such a talented secondary cast, it was disappointing to not see much of such much of such veteran actors as Ralph Fiennes, Julie Walters, Maggie Smith, Emma Thompson, Alan Rickman, Robbie Coltrane and many others.

One of the highlights were the special effects in this one. The letter at the beginning was a bit crudely done, however Grawp was amazing! He was incredibly realistic it didn't at all look too graphic and computer animated. His texture was very life like to make it look almost like the real thing whereas usually it's a bit obvious due to a sort of glazed texture.

With those few small critisisms, I still did enjoy it.

OMG I know! Of course that could be Lord Voldermort to blame, I guess if I was being possessed by him I'd throw tantrums every now and then too. Cho Chang's accent was toned down sooo much compared with the last movie.

I agree. One of my favourite scenes was the beginning one with the entrance of the dementors and the storm. When they were running into the tunnel and the lighting, the filters, I thought that the director did an awesome job for that scene.

SPOILER:

What I really didn't like was when Umbridge discovered them and she went through the wall, whereas in the book Dobby told them about it. And she went in with Cho Chang where it was supposed to be Marietta.

Be you're very right btw. When he was possesed by Dumbledore, Harry had like very thick black and red eyeliner and when he was on the floor there was this one second of Emo Scene Kidness.
