Anji:
I JUST CAME BACK FROM SEEING IT!!! Ahbrow

I was actually disappoited a bit though, too many brilliant characters did not get enough limelight, also the movie lacked a plot. Had I not read the book I would've been very confused.

It seemed more like a visual reference rather that a movie. It was a bit too ovbious that there was a book attached to it.

Spoiler talk:
I cried soooo hard when Sirius died, I knew it was coming yet it still was a shock I just couldn't believe it. So not fair! Also the constant flashbacks and stuff kept giving me headaches. I thought the plot jumped way to much from one scene to another. Snape's lessons seemed sort of randomly and awkwardly squeezed into everything. Proffesor Trelawny's kicking out was another scene that seemed awkwardly added in.

Also, here's to Helena Bonham Carter and Imelda Staunton (my favourite character of the movie) who both did amazing jobs in conveying a strongly dislikeable character. Carter was suitably psychotic in her performance and did not seem at all to have been over-acting. She reminded be a bit of Gary Oldman's debut as Siruis Black which was also done in very good taste as a borderline psychopath. (Pretty much everyone here knows about my admiration of him.) But gosh, I did love Imelda Stauton's performance. She was definately given the bulk of the best lines and totally lit up the screen with her faux pleasentries.

Oh course, I cannot get over how good Gary Oldman was, and yet he still got a poor amount of screen time as well as David Thewlis.

The very few scenes that did include them, they did a hell of a job with such basic scenes to act

In fact, with such a talented secondary cast, it was disappointing to not see much of such much of such veteran actors as Ralph Fiennes, Julie Walters, Maggie Smith, Emma Thompson, Alan Rickman, Robbie Coltrane and many others.

One of the highlights were the special effects in this one. The letter at the beginning was a bit crudely done, however Grawp was amazing! He was incredibly realistic it didn't at all look too graphic and computer animated. His texture was very life like to make it look almost like the real thing whereas usually it's a bit obvious due to a sort of glazed texture.

With those few small critisisms, I still did enjoy it.

...I agree with alot of this. xD

I think I kinda enjoyed the movie less, cause I like know the book by heart, and I was always thinking "Noooo, he didn't do that Cheese etc"

And also some things were really like rushed in, like idk they wanted to tell everything. I can't really imagine how someone, who never read the books thinks though. tehe

And omg! Helena Bonham Carter was super amaaazing. Cheese But I love her anyway, she's always awesome.
And I love Alan Rickman as Snape obv. tehe I actually laughed, because he was so good. Cheese Idk I was laughing most of the time. 0_o

And I really liked the flash-backs, and the shaky cameras and all that stuff, and the animations.

AND OMG SERIUS DYING WAS THE SADDEST THING. Molly Not so much because of Serius dieing for me, but like, how Harry broke down and it was silent and stuff omgomg. ;_________________________;

...I thought the end was especially weird, when Harry was possessed by Voldemort and he was like "I can feel love, you don't. i'm sry 4 u. Dance" IDK EMO. lmfao lmfao But I guess that was because of the movie. It was more like Harry had to decide between bad and good, which wasn't the actual aspect in the book. Think

Also there were like things, that were just wrong, for me at least. Cheese Like angry Dumbledore and stuff. o_o And Harry was a fucking bitch. But Daniel was super hot anyway. And Ron and Hermine are like, only sidekicks for the plot. Ron makes jokes and Hermine is nerdy. gjknghk.

...
Omg I wrote so much and it doesn't make sense. Cassie

I saw it yesterday.

LOVED IT.

I want to go see it about 50 times now.

I dont think ive ever seen a HP movie without first having read the book...
So I sit and notice all the things they missed out.
They had to though, of course.
Still thought it was bloody amazing.

paha.
"Dumbledore's got style"

Sets were amazable.
The christmas bit was adorable.
Oh and Harry with his emotions all over the place, bless him.

AND THE FRIGGING CHILDREN IN THE CINEMA!
They kept laughing at the serious bits.
*breathes*

someone I know is having a thing for their birthday tomorow and we'll be going to the cinemas.
Guess what we're going to see?
Very Happy

I haven't seen it yet either. Theres only one screen at the movie theater, and one show a day. And it seems like everyone in my town goes. I don't like crowds/people. AA
