ZACHARIAS.
And Hepzibah.
they're obv. related.
And don't forget Sir Patrick Delaney-Podmore and Sturgis Podmore. I don't think that just because two HP characters share the same name, doesn't make them instantly related |

EDIT: Just read that someone has mentioned this. I'm not sure if i believe it. It's a possibility, I guess. |

Age: 35 Gender: Female Posts: 17669 | June 23rd, 2007 at 03:52pm Nah, I don't think Harry is a horcrux, because Voldemort didn't intentionally put part of his soul into him.
And also, if he were a horcrux, wouldn't Voldie want to keep him safe and sound?
PLUS Voldie doesn't trust anyone apart from Nagini to keep his soul nice and secret inside them. |

I don't think he's a horcrux either, but Voldemort could have done it accidently.. |

I don't think he's a horcrux either, but Voldemort could have done it accidently.. I don't think that one accidently makes a horcrux, it sounds like a fairly complicated process. Not like, 'Shit I knocked over the mug by accident, now it's a bloody horcrux!' |

Age: 35 Gender: Female Posts: 17669 | June 23rd, 2007 at 05:17pm Yeah, you don't create a horcrux by killing someone, because the stole resides in two pieces in the body. It's dark magic that puts one part into another object. |

Age: 33 Gender: Female Posts: 16175 | June 23rd, 2007 at 05:36pm I'll be disappointed if Harry is a horcrux. It's too obvious, what, with Voldemort "putting part of himself within Harry" and all the things they share. >_>
I haven't re-read the sixth yet, but from what I remember, a horcrux is made after a significant death, isn't it? Although.. that was because it was a great act of evil, and because it, figuratively, "split the soul apart" ... though I guess intending to kill someone is just as evil as actually doing it, no? ... what if it physically split the soul apart. >:/ Hm. |

Age: 35 Gender: Female Posts: 17669 | June 24th, 2007 at 08:12am I think the act itself is the thing that splits the soul, because Malfoy was intending to kill Dumbledore but he's not evil, he's just scared. And also, you can be blinded by rage and fury, and so intending to kill someone can be a natural reaction, whereas actually going through with it takes a LOT more evil...ness. |

Age: 33 Gender: Female Posts: 16175 | June 24th, 2007 at 05:42pm True, but not everyone who kills is evil, either.
Though he killed his parents first, right? That would've split his soul nicely. Maybe the protection Lily gave made something backfire and screw up, and the bond they share is the soul. Bah, I dunno.
Theorizing confuses me. I should just wait for the book. D: |

Age: 35 Gender: Female Posts: 17669 | June 24th, 2007 at 07:47pm No, but killing out of evilness is an act of evil.
If you're killing evil people, I'm sure it's considered as pest control or something.
But I think most people who are fighting evil don't want to kill people, so it probably plays on their conscience for a while...so maybe it just like...grazes their soul instead of splitting it. |

 | June 24th, 2007 at 08:28pm If Harry has love, and Voldie doesn't, will that destroy him? Like he kills himself instead of Ginny or something, and Voldemort's head explodes?
I think it should end like that |
