Last city
I thought I could trust the repitition
The drifting I feel each morning and night
As with sleep came the sorrowful moans
Reminding me I wasn't home.

But instead emerged a new curiosity
Deeper than my imagination
Far above anything I'd ever planned.
My world fell together
A metaphor for the riverflow
With more grace than I could understand.

Ironically,
I still don't know the answer.

i liked it. It was really good!!

I've re-read it over and over, because it really is an interesting piece of poetry. I feel so guilty that I haven't had time or inspiration to write something yet, but I'll have to think of something really beautiful to match this.
