This is the sonnet I wrote for English. It's my first draft, so could you guys help me to improve it? Since you're all genius poets here?

Biking around my neighborhood at night,
I spot a beer can lying on the ground.
This would give my neighbors such a big fright,
If this alcohol can were to be found.

Regularly, the streets are clean of trash,
Free for people to play and walk their dogs.
But now, there seems to be a fright’ning gash
In the soft melody of chirping frogs.

The trees seem to shake and rustle in fear,
The birds no longer want to sing their song.
Now that this dirty thing is lying here,
Nature wants to reject all that is wrong.

_________Though I can’t see that well because it’s dark,
_________I spot a shadow passed out in the park.
