Kiss Kiss derived their name from a book of short stories by popular children's writer Roald Dahl. However, these stories withhold dark plot occurrences that contrast from other writings by the author.
Almost in sync, Kiss Kiss' music is similar; dark, frantic and crazed. Yet, at other points melodic and soothing. With an electric violin, wurlitzers, analog synthesizers, and a variation of wind and string instruments, this band definitely separates itself from any class or genre while still maintaining a catchy and melodic ambiance.
If you're a person who respects and loves all types of music, if you're a person who loves music that is both frenetic yet consistent, if you're a person who loves music: I suggest you give this band a shot...
