I was too busy being disgusted to feel much else when ten regenerated.
I liked the episode, and those little scenes with Wilf and The Doctor were absolutely beautiful, made me wobbly as anything.
And the Ten/Master love made me smirk like a silly. 
But those ~farewell~ scenes were utter, utter shite.
Russell, Moff and other S5 writers would bring back characters if they wanted to. If they thought it would help the story. You're bringing them back because they're yours and you're a self indulgent bastard and THERE'S NO NEED THERE'S NO NEED Of course he wants to say goodbye to everyone he loves, but part of the beauty of The Doctor's character is how many burdens he has to carry. If it'd had gone from 'that's it. I'm going to have to carry on. I didn't die' to a regeneration, that would have been brilliant telly. Not to be morbid or anything. But I'd have rather sat in floods of tears than sat screaming WHAT THE FUCK IS THIS at the tv.
I'm as sad to see David go as the next fan, and of course I wanted his final scenes to be spectacular, but I just couldn't stomach that. My GOD, I'd heard of something like this happening, but I never thought he'd actually do it.
Oh and lovely cop out too, YEAH I MADE YOU THINK DONNA WAS STUFFED IF SHE REMEMBERED EVERYTHING AGAIN BUT ACTUALLY LIKE NO SHE'LL JUST GO TO SLEEP SHE'LL BE FINE
lol okay there ends my rant, bring on the moff.
