It's so hard but i know that it's right
I try my best to explain as i don't want to fight
I don't know what i saw in you before
I know that it will be better when we are a couple no more
You are not the person i thought you were
I know what you really want is to be with her
But one day with you and she will be gone
Back to her husband she wont bother to phone
and you will be left all alone
i dont want that as i want us to be mates
ill lead you through the tough times in your past just close the gates
lock all the bad memories away,
thats all i can say
lets just go back to the way we were
before it all got messed up and you fell for her
shes married and the other ones happy with her bloke
theres no way you can change that so move on find someone else i know shes out there waiting for you dont treat life just as a joke.
if we could be friends i would be so happy you are an awesome guy,
thats friendship noone can buy
you just need to learn that you cant treat a girl this way,
you should take them for walks accross the bay
ill show you how to change so any girl will fall for you just listen to what i say
i want us to stay mates as you were the best friend ive ever had,
all the others left me sad,
i want everything to go back like it was before when things werent so hard.
