She’s the pretty girl with the low self-esteem
The one the guys all stare at while their jealous girlfriends sneer
She’s got her hands in her pocket and her head stopped low

With her long shiny hair in a ponytail
And the cutest fingers topped with bitten-up nails

She’s so absorbed in this world she hates
Will she ever be happy?
Or is it too late?

She’s got a popular boy, feels like a trophy whore
And she tries hard to like it but life’s such a bore
Barely five-foot-two, she doesn’t know what to do.
So she goes around town always stuck on his arm
And now she’s fallen headfirst for the shy girl’s charm

It's a song I wrote. It came to me during a discussion on a certain message board. I guess it's kind of like a fanfiction-song. So I'd like to hear your guesses on who Gina and Francine are.

I really love this though. I was grinning like an idiot the whole time I was writing it. I want this to be like...on the radio someday. Only I don't want Gina and Francine to hear it.

I was captured throughout, and it was a pleasant suprise when I relised that these were two female lovers
a great way of portraying the boundries of love and how they can be brought down
the rhyming scheme was amazing, at the strat i wasn't too sure of it but after the second stanza it kept up the flow and was quite effecinent
a great poem keep up the good work x
