I don't think he'll cut that really, as it's Harry's "death" hey won't cut his death, but maybe they'll think that Sirius and Lupin are a bit redundant and it's cheaper if you can have two actors paid rather than four. Plus some acotrs might not bother doing such a small role. Like Helena Bonham Carter almost bowed out of Order of the Phoenix, because they gave her five lines which were later reduced to like, two.
